Difference between Wine and Sangria

Wine is an alcoholic beverage made from grapes. On the other hand, sangria is a prepared alcoholic drink, whose base ingredient is red wine (or white in some cases). Both enjoy great popularity around the world, although sangria is predominantly more popular in Latin America and Spain.

Sangria is considered ideal for hot days, as it is fresh and sweet. Wine, on the other hand, is excellent to accompany all kinds of dishes in any situation.

  • Small pieces of citrus fruits, such as lemon and orange. Seasonal fruits such as apple, pear and peach can also be added.
  • A bit of sugar
  • Spices like cinnamon and nutmeg
  • Orange or lemon fizzy drink
