The word physics comes from the Greek term -phisis- which alludes to nature and reality. It is a natural science that studies the properties of nature by analyzing the characteristics of matter, energy and time, as well as the relationships or links that exist between these elements.

Physics is considered a discipline of experimentation that develops theories and statements to explain the phenomena that occur in nature. In addition, it is considered a fundamental or basic science, because it is a science that does not have immediate practical purposes but rather seeks to increase knowledge about certain phenomena.

On the other hand, physics studies the properties of bodies and the laws that govern the transformations that affect their state and their movement, without altering their nature, that is, it is responsible for analyzing transformations or physical phenomena.

Among the different branches of physics we can find astrophysics, atomic physics, biophysics, physical chemistry, condensed matter physics, molecular physics, nuclear physics, particle physics, quantum physics and thermodynamics, among others. others.
