Difference between Note 4 and Note Edge

Note 4 and Note Edge are Android phablet smartphones from Samsung Galaxy. The main difference between the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is that the Note 4 has the Samsung Exyons 5 Octa 5420 (HSPA+ version) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (LTE and China version) system on the chip, while the Note Edge has Samsung Exyons 5 Octa 5433 (South Korea version) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (global version) system on chip.

Note 4

Note 3 an Android phablet smartphone from Samsung’s Galaxy series. It was released on September 3, 2014. It is the successor to Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Its dimension is: 6.04 inches high, 3.09 inches wide and 0.33 inches deep. It originally comes with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, however it is also compatible with the current Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. Its CPU is Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 or 1.3 GHz Octa Core Cortex-A53 (Exynos version), Quad-core 2.7 GHz Krait 450 (Snapdragon version). Unlike the Note 3, it has a USB 2.0 charging port instead of USB 3.0. It also includes a new UV sensor and heart rate monitor, oximeter, among others, the most common sensors.

Note Edge is an Android phablet smartphone from Samsung’s Galaxy series. It was launched on September 3, 2014 along with the Galaxy Note 4. It is different from the Note 4 as its screen is curved on the right side of the set and can be used as a sidebar as well as to display application shortcuts, notifications and other information. Its dimension is: 151.3 mm high, 82.4 mm wide and 8.3 mm deep. It originally comes with the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system, however it is also compatible with the current Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. Its CPU is Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 and Quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex-A57 (South Korea version), 2.7 GHz Krait 450 Quad-core (Global version).

Key differences

1. The Note Edge screen is different from the Note 4. The Note Edge screen is curved along the right side of the device and can be used as a sidebar, as well as to display app shortcuts, notifications, and other information.
2. Note 4 has Samsung Exyons 5 Octa 5420 (HSPA+ version) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (LTE and China version) system on chip while Note Edge has Samsung Exyons 5 Octa 5433 (South Korea version) and Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (global version) on chip.
