Difference between Mamey and Zapote
Sapodilla is a fairly common type of fruit in Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. Its name comes from the Nahuatl tzpotl . There are a number of varieties of sapotes, which vary in size, color, and flavor. As for the mamey, this is, in fact, a type of zapotaceous. Therefore, the mamey is one of the many types of sapotes that exist.
