What is the difference between Domicile and Residence
The concept of domicile is used to name the permanent and fixed home of an individual. It is a territorial area where a person settles to carry out their activities of daily life. Legally, the domicile supposes the territorial constituency where the person settles to exercise her rights and fulfill her obligations, therefore, an individual must vote in the city in which he has established his domicile.
As for a residence, it is the place that has been structurally designed to be inhabited. It is a space where you can a certain number of people. Another definition is the place that has been designed to house a large number of people with similar needs or characteristics, for example a student residence or a residence for the elderly.
