Definition of Society

The concept of society has several possible meanings. On the one hand, it can be defined as an agreed or natural group of people or individuals (since it also applies to some animals). A human society is a group of people or a population entity that has ties that distinguish them from other societies. It is an intertwining of political, economic and cultural aspects that give individuals their own identity but which in turn build a whole, within which each of these aspects and these individuals develop.

In the case of human societies, the mere existence of these implies that there is, even a minimum degree of cooperation, will, solidarity and other types of links between individuals. In any case, when these characteristics cross generational gaps and there are genetic ties that continue to perpetuate, then society begins to become a culture. Therefore, society generates culture. It is important not to confuse these two concepts
