Difference between Analogous and Homologous Organs
Within biology, the branch of comparative anatomy serves to help understand the anatomical similarities and differences that exist between organisms. According to this, the organs are divided into homologous, analogous and vestigial.

Definition | As for homologous organs, these are those organs that have similar internal structures but whose purposes are different. | On the contrary, analogous organs are those that perform the same functions even though they have different internal structures. |
examples | The wings of birds, the arms of humans, and the tentacles of octopuses are homologous organs. | Bird wings, insect wings, and bat wings are analogous organs. |
